Will you take a leap with me?
This weekend was Dnow weekend for Rbcstudents. What a weekend! I am so ready to sleep for days now. God did so much in students and leaders life's.The theme for this weekend was here and now and with the end in mind. So what are you doing today right now to make a difference with the end in mind?
For the last month or so I have had the thought in the back of my head to run the St.Jude half marathon next year. About 6 months to a year ago Will went to help a family out with their air and he came home and told me the story of their daughter. Her name is Avery and she is now 3. Avery is battling with Brain cancer. Ever since then I have been following Avery's journey. Avery just got home from being at
St.Jude for about a month.
I have been a running almost all of my life. Run cross-country in high school. So this long distance is nothing new to me. I have just never raced it. Which has always been a goal of mine. With that said There is a project that is going on called the leapyearproject. This project is to take this year and find something that you can do to have the community or state or even the world better. This is my leapyearproject.
I would love to raise $1,000 for St.Jude just to get a start! My goal is to get the community, friends, family and local business involved in making a change to fight the battle of finding a cure for cancer.
Will you make a leap year project to make a difference for the better?
Take the chance make a difference!

Wedding planning!
We are now registered at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond! I have to say this has been Will's favorite part so far. He was excited to get going. Target was a little of a pain, mainly because no one wanted to help us out. Bed Bath and Beyond took us forever just because they have someone walk around the store with you telling you what you need. Over all it was a pretty fun time. We still have to add to them once we figure out where we will be living.
On another note I went dress shopping a couple of weeks ago with my maid of honor! It was fun and a little discouraging. I did figure out what type of dress I liked. Which I would have never gone for by just looking at them online. But lace is a must now! The dresses out of lace looked amazing. Just didn't find one that I loved! I have a feeling this is going to be quite hard.
UP note is we have a DATE!!!!! oh and a place for the wedding and reception. 446 days and counting!
That is about all for wedding world. We are doing pictures some time next month!

Not knowing where to go
Have you ever had that feeling of I'm just stuck or not know what or where to go next? That's where I have been! It has really hit me hard in the last week or so and is quite frustrating. Not knowing what God wants next or where to go from getting back from Africa has been the hardest thing on me lately. I know I'm to go back again I just have no clue when and in the last week I have had this fear come over me about going back. Never had this fear going the last time. Alot of it is the unknown I know of just not knowing how asthma is going to react or is someone medically going to be there. My heart is for missions and always has been. It is just hard waiting to find out where God wants me next. But alot of what God wants at times is for us to wait.

God's story
I have got far behind on this blogging thing.
Well since I updated last I have started two new jobs both dealing with special need people of some sort. I have doing assistance living type of thing and being a sub para in rogersville. This is defiantly where God wants me right now. I have also reapplied and been back accepted to MSU for this summer and next year. I am going to go back and finish my special ed and maybe get a masters. I will get culinary done some time, it's just not where God wants me right now.
Over presidents day weekend Will and I went on our first missions trip together. We went to Oklahoma with the group that I do bible study will. It was alot of fun. Both of us have a heart for missions and have been on several trips just not together. It was alot of fun getting to share the experience together.
Here are a few pictures from the weekend.
And then......... Wedding planning! I offically have a planning book which is amazing. We still odn't for sure have a date or a place but should soon. We have a few more places to look at but pretty well know where we will end up! So exciting. My mom came down last week to go look at a few places with me and get a few little things planned. Oh and meet my maid of honor! Which is doing an amzaing job may i mention. Things I would never think of she is on top of.
I am super excited for what God has been doing and is doing in my life and Will's. I love that he made us for each other and that it is crazy how we both had a "list" made years ago and we fit each others to a T.
That is all for now.

Breathing and on U.S. soil.....Day 17
Rough Rough start today! The shot was sure in full kick! Can I say flying and being drugged up is not fun!!!! Little to say I slept a good 3-4 hours on our 8 hr flight! But I did get Starbucks in the mix! God had an amazing plane this whole trip. We all know I open up to no one. Well Aaron and me have kinda just clicked with all the shots, yes that means I have opened up! Asthma may have sucked but there is always a reason. Pretty much the last 2 hours we have been like middle schoolers passing notes on the plain but it was worth it! The convo of trusting God and just hearing how God works in both of our lifes is amazing. And all this wouldn't have happened if I wouldn't have had asthma attacks. As Aaron said on my first shot " we can bond by a board game or something better. Faking asthma attacks is a rough way of doing so." lol God knew what he had in store rather I liked shots or not, it built an awesome relationship that I don't see leaving any time soon. As for now I am ready to hit Chicago and turn on my phone to call Will not ready to ready to reenter the world of life, that way my phone can stay off! I made it back to U.S. soil breathing!!!!! The Joke the whole trip!

Good bye Africa...Day 16
Last morning here in Africa! :( Today has literately been a blur. We went to church this morning with Mitchell. It started at 9ish and lasted until about 11-11:30 that is what you call a church service. They are so interscholastic here! I wish people at home would have the joy for the Lord like the Africans do here! It is like at home going to church is just something people do one Sunday mornings to check off their list. Here the people sow ant to be at church and dance and sing and just shut out to the lord! After church we went to a French restaurant . It was So GOOD! Except for the fact they smoke inside and my asthma just loved it! Which just lead to one even after the next and wouldn't you know ended with another shot! yes 5 in 17 days lucky me! My asthma just couldn't wait until I got back to the U.S. soil. once again another reaction. Then we did a debreife about what happened in each village and loaded the bus! A few long term missionary made all of us dinner before we left. Which was amazing. Sweet tea! and Cold! so good! Then it was off to the air port. Dear Lord they need a better system, no way are you getting out of there illegally. They check your passport 4-5 times in the amount of 5 feet. Then you put your bags through the scanner wait for your bus to go to the plain and oh wait get our bags searched again and you scanned again before getting on the bus. Seriously! there is a better system. As for now we are officially on the way out of here! It was surreal coming now surreal leaving! On top of this all i just don't feel good, so I am ready to sleep off part of this shot!
